Blog #5:There have been 5 major extinction events throughout history, are humans impacting the 6th? Why or why not?

In 1982, there were five major mass extinctions that were identified, they were called the "The Big Five".  These five extinctions are: Cretaceous–Tertiary extinction, Triassic–Jurassic extinction, Permian–Triassic extinction, Late Devonian extinction, and Ordovician–Silurian extinction. There can possibly be a 6th extinction and this could be the extinction of human beings.  This all depends on causes like diseases and global warming. There are alot of diseases in the world that can put an end on human life and if we keep hurting the environment this will lead to global warming in which we will all not survive.  Every organism in this world will eventually die.
